Everblades Announce New Radio Affiliation

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today that WCNZ AM-1660 will carry all 72 Everblades regular season games for the upcoming 2002-03 Fifth Anniversary season. The agreement reached with the station will allow Everblades fans to listen to Everblades games throughout SW Florida this season. While Sportsradio 770 AM remains the Everblades flagship station, the new affiliation will give fans from Port Charlotte to Key West another outlet to be a part of Everblades hockey this year.

The Everblades Director of Marketing and "Voice of the Everblades" Mark Miller is pleased to have teamed up with 1660 AM for the upcoming year, "We have great fans in SW Florida and this agreement allows them to hear our games from Port Charlotte to Key West. We look forward to working with WCNZ 1660/AM."

The Everblades take on the Columbus Cottonmouths this Friday and Saturday night in two preseason contests. The puck drops at 7:30 PM for both games. There will be no broadcast for this weekend's preseason contests, the first broadcast will be on Friday, October 11th when the Everblades battle the Augusta Lynx at 7:35 in Augusta.
