(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos invite media to the final auditions for the Esks Force Hype Team and Esks Force Drum Line presented by Impact Performing Arts Association, on Sunday, March 31, at 11:00 a.m. in the Igloo Room at Commonwealth Stadium.
The audition process started today, Friday, March 29 and included preliminary tryouts. Both the drum line and hype team will undergo the final round of tryouts on Sunday. Each drum line prospect will perform a predetermined drum cadence as well as a solo piece. Hype team finalists will perform a choreographed routine to music as well as demonstrate freestyle skills, including breaking and tricks, to live drumming from the drum line. The final team will be announced immediately following the auditions.
In addition to entertaining fans at Green and Gold home games, the Esks Force Hype Team and Drum Line, performs at many events throughout the year, and is active in community service.
