(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have signed free agent defensive back Tuff Harris to a practice roster agreement, the club announced today.
A four year starter at the University of Montana, Harris set school records for longest punt return and most return yards in a game.
Signed as an undrafted free agent by Miami in 2007, Harris appeared in 1 regular season game for the Dolphins in ¬â¢07 and six for the Tennessee Titans in 2008. He ¬â¢s also spent time on the practice rosters of the New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers.
A member of the Crow Nation, Harris ¬â¢s given native name is ¬ÅChaawagiichish ¬Â, meaning Rejoice in Prayers.
