(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the signing of international defensive end Sam Montgomery to the practice roster.

Height: 6.03
Weight: 260
At Louisiana State (2010-12), Montgomery recorded 104 total tackles, 32.5 tackles for a loss, 19 sacks, and one forced fumble in 32 games (26 starts). He was a third-team All-American in 2012 after recording eight sacks and 13 tackles for loss.
Montgomery was selected by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He later spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals.
