Errors Lead To Loss

The Crosscutters made three errors that all led to runs for the Scrappers, in the Cutters 7-2 loss in the middle game of the series.

Ethan Lindow tied a season-high with six innings, allowing two runs on four hits, including a solo home run. Lindow did not walk a batter, but struck out eight in an no decision. Robinson Martinez suffered his 2nd loss, allowing one run over an inning of work, striking out two. Juan Escorcia surrendered the other four runs in an inning of relief.

Madison Stokes connected on his 1st professional home run, finishing the night 1 for 4. Rafael Marchan went 2 for 4, giving him back-to-back multi-hit games. Edwin Rodriguez went 1 for 4 with an RBI to give him four RBI in the series.

The Crosscutters are now 3-5 against the Scrappers this season. The Crosscutters five home run against the Scrappers are the most Williamsport has hit against a single opponent this season. All five home runs have come from five different Cutters.
