----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look to make it back-to-back wins as they take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) in the third game of a four game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves snapped their longest losing streak of the season with a 5-2 win over Richmond. Erie has not won back-to-back games since winning the last game before the all-star break and the first game after the break. Erie's last back-to-back wins on consecutive days was July 5-6 vs. Akron...Tonight, righty Patrick Cooper takes the mound for Erie making his 17th appearance, 10th start and second appearance against Richmond. Cooper faced the Squirrels once in relief on June 1 and tossed five shutout innings. Cooper has received little runs support in his last four starts. Erie has scored a combined four runs over his last four starts. Cooper lost his fourth straight game in his last start at Akron on July 23. In the game, he allowed six runs on 11 hits with three walks and four strikeouts. Erie lost the game 11-1...RHP Justin Fitzgerald takes the mound for the Flying Squirrels making his 22nd start and second against the SeaWolves. Erie beat Fitzgerald on June 3. That day, he allowed five runs on seven hits in 6.1 innings. Ftizgerald won his last start on July 23 at Bowie. He tossed seven shutout innings allowing three hits with a walk and two strikeouts...Erie heads to the northeast following tomorrow's game against the Squirrels for a six-game trip to New Hampshire and Portland.
