----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look for a series win as they take on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays) in the rubber game of a three-game series at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Yesterday afternoon, the SeaWolves snapped an eight-game road losing streak as they took down the Fisher Cats 3-2 in the middle game of the series. The SeaWolves will look for wins in consecutive days for the first time since July 5-6. If the 'Wolves win tonight, it will be the first series win for the club since July 4-6 against Akron...Tonight, righty Patrick Cooper takes the mound for Erie making his 18th appearance, 11th start and first appearance against New Hampshire. Cooper has lost five straight and the team has dropped the last seven games he has started. Cooper lost his fifth straight in his last start on July 28 against Richmond. In the game, he allowed five runs on nine hits with three walks and four strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work. Erie lost the game 6-3...RHP Fernando Hernandez takes the mound for the Fisher Cats making his 31st appearance and eighth start. It is his first start since July 16. Hernandez last outing came in relief against Altoona on July 27. In the game, he allowed two runs on three hits with no walks and a strikeout in an inning of work...The SeaWolves continue their six-game road trip on Friday in Portland. The Fisher Cats and Sea Dogs will visit Jerry Uht Park next week for their lone trips into Erie.
