Erie BayHawks Add Jaylen Morris

ERIE, PA - The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, has added guard Jaylen Morris to the team's roster, it was announced today. Erie's roster now sits at 12, including both Atlanta Hawks two-way players.

The Molloy College product joins Erie as a returning player, as the BayHawks retained his NBA G League rights. Morris was drafted by the Erie BayHawks with the 15th pick of the second round in the 2017 NBA G League Draft.

Morris (6-5, 192) was most recently on a two-way contract with the Milwaukee Bucks. He appeared in four games with Milwaukee, averaging 2.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 7.1 minutes of play. In 13 games (all starts) with the Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, Morris registered 14.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 35.1 minutes (.503 FG%, .639 FT%).

During the 2017-18 season, Morris saw action in 39 games (all starts) with the BayHawks, posting 12.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 31.4 minutes (.517 FG%, .673 FT%). After signing consecutive 10-day contracts with the Atlanta Hawks (Feb. 28, 2018 and Mar. 11, 2018), the Amherst, New York, native was signed to a multi-year contract on Mar. 21, 2018. He appeared in six games with the Hawks last season, notching 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 16.4 minutes. He was waived by Atlanta on July 19, 2018.

In 52 career NBA G League games, Morris owns averages of 13.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 32.3 minutes (.513 FG%, .664 FT%).
