Brockton Rox News Release
Entertainment Management Complex, LLC, the operators of Campanelli Stadium the home of the Brockton Rox of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League and the Shaw's Center, a 15,000 square foot conference center next door to the ballpark and one of the premier conference and function centers in the Metro South region of Massachusetts announced today that they have entered into an agreement with a new management company to take over operations of the Shaw's Center.
EMC, LLC, will now partner with Rashuad Garner, a local Brockton resident that has over 7 years' experience in the event industry, and his management company, DJ4Hunna, LLC. "After managing the Shaw's Center for the last three years we are pleased to partner with Rashaud and his organization to take the reins of the Shaw's Center. We are certain that with Rashuad's expertise in the event and catering industry he will be able to not only maintain the stellar reputation of quality and service the Shaw's Center is known for, but will also be able to take it to new heights", commented Todd Marlin, Senior Vice President of EMC, LLC.
Rashaud Garner a Boston native now calls Brockton his home as he has resided in the City of Champions for over three years now. He began DJ4Hunna, LLC working as a DJ 7 years ago. As he watched other event professionals early on, he quickly inherited a tremendous amount of knowledge of the industry that led him to do events throughout the Boston region, including working with the late mayor of Boston, Mayor Menino, as well as being a proud sponsor of the Brockton Boys & Girls Club. Rashaud has been a mentor for children within the Boston region and continues to do events for kids that give them access to fun in many communities. Knowing he was ready to take the next step and manage a facility, he is excited to work out a deal with EMC, LLC. "I'm very excited for the opportunity to work with the folks from EMC, LLC. For me to be able to put on events of all sorts within my adopted home town of Brockton is a dream come true", said Rashaud.
To introduce Rashuad to the community there is an event planned at the Shaw's Center planned for January 7th. At that event, the DJ4Hunna staff will be welcoming guests of all ages to tour the facility and learn more about the opportunities to do events. There will be face painters, bounce houses, raffles, games for kids and a lot more. Best thing about this event is that it is free to the public!
The Shaw's Center currently operates over 300 events per year including weddings, Bar mitzvahs, trade shows, concerts and high end catering for any type of event. " We are very excited to bring Rashaud on to manage this facility for us as it will give us an opportunity to concentrate on the business we know best, baseball. We feel this arrangement will allow us to concentrate on continuing to build on the programs the Rox have begun to implement into the city of Brockton and its surrounding communities, making the Rox a stronger organization and one that will be successful for many years into the future", said Todd Marlin.
