
Energy FC to Host Open Tryout

OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC has announced an open tryout scheduled for February 5 - 7 at the Norman Youth Soccer Association Complex, 1001 East Robinson Street, Norman, OK 73071. Members from the OKC Energy FC technical staff will select a minimum of two players to trial with the Energy for two weeks during the preseason for the opportunity to play for the club during the 2016 season. In addition, the technical staff for Energy FC's PDL franchise will be evaluating players for their franchise, which begins play in summer of 2016.
The cost to attend the tryout is $150 and participants are responsible for their own travel, lodging and food. Payment is required at the time of registration. Anyone paying after January 31, 2016 or registering on-site will be assessed an additional $50 fee. With limited space available, participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible at energyfc.com/tryouts. As a part of the fee, players receive two Energy FC training tops and are guaranteed a minimum of two 60-minute matches.
Following matches Friday night and Saturday, an all-star game will be held Sunday. Participants will receive detailed information prior to the start of the open tryout.
Players must provide their own cleats, socks, gloves, shin guards or any other equipment necessary for the tryout. There is no refund for cancellations, and Energy FC can not assist with visas or letters of invitation.
