
Energy FC to Host Open Tryout in Kansas City

OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC has announced an open tryout scheduled for November 21-23 at Swope Soccer Village, located at the corner of East 63rd Street and Lewis Road in Kansas City. The cost to attend the tryout is $150 and participants are responsible for their own travel, lodging and food. A minimum of two participants will be invited for trial with Energy FC following the tryout.
Registration for the open tryout is online and available at www.EnergyFC.com. Online registration closes on Tuesday, November 18 at 5 p.m. CT. Payment is required at the time of registration. Anyone paying or registering on-site will be assessed an additional $50 fee. An open tryout for the Oklahoma City metro area will be announced at a later date.
Following practices Friday night and Saturday morning, an all-star contest will be held contingent on Sporting Kansas City's potential playoff schedule. The camp is scheduled to wrap up no later than Sunday afternoon. Participants will receive detailed information prior to the start of the open tryout.
Each participant is guaranteed two practice sessions and two Energy FC t-shirts. Players must provide their own cleats, socks, gloves, shin guard or any other equipment necessary for the tryout. There is no refund for cancellations and Energy FC will not help with visas or letters of invitation.
