OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC has re-signed defender Cyprian Hedrick for the 2015 season, General Manager Jason Hawkins announced Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Cyprian brings a great daily work ethic to practice," said Energy FC Head Coach Jimmy Nielsen. "He is passionate about what we're building in Oklahoma City, and I'm very happy to have him back for another season."

Hedrick was part of a strong defensive quartet for Energy FC that held opponents to 1.32 goals per match. He started in 14 matches, appeared in 23 matches and played a total of 1,433 minutes on the back line in 2014.

"It's an honor and a blessing to be back another season playing for such a great organization," Hedrick said. "I'm excited to once again play in front our amazing fans."
