OKC Energy FC News Release

OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy will head to Florida for preseason training, the club's front office announced today.

The team will report to Oklahoma City on February 1 to participate in training exercises in the city. February 10, the team heads to IMG Academy, near Tampa Bay, where they will stay for two weeks while training and playing three preseason matches.

Energy FC's scheduled games in Florida are:

- vs. NYCFC (MLS) Feb. 12 Noon CT

- vs. HB Koge (Danish 1st Division) Feb. 17 2 p.m. CT

- vs. Orlando City B (USL) Feb. 21 Noon CT

"When the opportunity presented itself, we jumped at the chance to train and play at IMG," said Energy FC General Manager Jason Hawkins. "When we evaluated 2015, we felt the IMG trip was one of the many successes we had. It gave us the opportunity to play first-class competition at a world class facility, experience a win over MLS side Toronto FC and set the tone for the remainder of the season. We look forward to challenging ourselves again against the likes of NYCFC, HB Koge and Orlando City B."

Energy FC hosts FC Dallas in a preseason match at historic Taft Stadium in Oklahoma City on February 27. Season Seat Holders tickets are available by contacting the Energy office at 235-KICK or visiting energyfc.com.
