The Pioneers offense struggled until the fourth inning against the Newark Pilots as Logan Uxa (Arkansas State) drove in Elmira's first run of the ballgame with a single up the middle. The Pioneers would use the fifth inning to tie up the game 4-4 after a two run home-run by David Bishop (Mississippi State) and an RBI single from Aaron Hopper (Marietta).
