The Elks tied the game at 3 in the bottom of the 3rd as the first 5 runners in the inning would reach base by virtue of a single or a walk. Then in the 5th, the Seals scored 9 runs and sent 13 hitters to the plate, making the score 12-3 and made it an ugly game quick. The Elks would get one back in the 5th and 6th, but the Seals responded with one of their own in the 8th and 9th to keep an extensive lead.
