Eliot and Pitlick Named to NHL Central Scouting Service Midterm Rankings

MUSKEGON, Michigan - Mitch Eliot and Rem Pitlick were named to the third installment of the NHL Central Scouting Service Midterm Rankings for the 2016 NHL Entry Draft in June. Eliot has been named to all three rankings, while Pitlick was named to the rankings for the first time this season.

Eliot is listed as the 89th overall prospect for the upcoming draft. The future Michigan State Spartan is in his second season with the Muskegon Lumberjacks, and has registered three goals and six assists. He is currently second in defensemen scoring for Muskegon, with nine points in 31 games.

Pitlick is listed as the 141st overall prospect for the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Currently, the University of Minnesota commit is leading the USHL in scoring with 22 goals and 18 assists. Yesterday, Pitlick helped the Lumberjacks complete a 5-4 overtime victory, tallying two goals and two assists.

A total of 43 active players and alumni from the USHL were named to the NHL Central Scouting Service midterm rankings.

The Muskegon Lumberjacks (14-14-3) return to action this Friday, January 22nd, against the first place Cedar Rapids RoughRiders (22-9-3). The Lumberjacks next home game is on Friday, February 5th against the Bloomington Thunder.
