(MANCHESTER, NH) -- Game Three of the Eastern League Championship Series between the Altoona Curve and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats has been postponed by rain at Gill Stadium.
The leading edge of Tropical Storm Ivan moved into southern New Hampshire late Friday afternoon and continued to dump rain on the area into the evening. After waiting for an hour and half past the scheduled start time of 6:05, the game was called off.
Game Three has been rescheduled for Saturday at 5:05 p.m. In a matchup of right-handers, the Curve will send Ian Snell (11-7, 3.16 during the regular season) against the Fisher Cats' Francisco Rosario (2-4, 4.31).
New Hampshire leads the best-of-five series, 2-0 after wins on Tuesday and Wednesday at Blair County Ballpark.
