Edmonton Oilers Assign 5 Players To Springfield

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that 5 players have been assigned to Springfield by their National Hockey League affiliate, the Edmonton Oilers.

Players Assigned To Falcons:

Johan Motin (D), Viacheslav Trukhno (LW), Geoff Paukovich (LW), Colin McDonald (RW) and Charles Linglet (LW).

FALCONS TRAINING CAMP ICE SCHEDULE:

Monday, September 21 Ice Time - 10 am @ MassMutual Center

Tuesday, September 22 Ice Time - 10 am @ MassMutual Center

Wednesday, September 23 Ice Time - 10 am @ MassMutual Center

Pre-Season Game @ Marlborough, MA Vs. Providence - 7 pm

Thursday, September 24 Ice Time - 10 am @ MassMutual Center

Friday, September 25 Ice Time - 10 am @ MassMutual Center

Pre-season Game @ MassMutual Center Vs. Worcester - 7:30 pm

Saturday, September 26 Ice Time - 10 am @ MassMutual Center

Pre-season Game @ MassMutual Center Vs. Providence - 7:00 pm

The Falcons will begin their pre-season schedule on Wednesday, September 23 when they take on the Providence Bruins at the New England Sports Complex in Marlborough, MA starting at 7 pm. Springfield will host a pair of pre-season games at the MassMutual Center starting on Friday, September 25 when they host the Worcester Sharks at 7:30 pm. The Falcons will face the Bruins again on Saturday, September 26 at The Nest starting at 7 pm to conclude their exhibition schedule.

The Falcons open their 2009-10 regular season schedule on Saturday, October 3 when they host the Portland Pirates starting at 7:00 pm at the MassMutual Center. The Falcons will be entering their 16th American Hockey League season and third year with their National Hockey League affiliate, the Edmonton Oilers.
