
Edinburg Falls to RGV in Series Finale

HARLINGEN, Texas - The Edinburg Roadrunners dropped the final game of their four-game series with the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings 3-0 Friday night at Harlingen Field.
Coleman Stephens (2-1) kept the Roadrunners off the scoreboard with six scoreless innings while scattering three hits and striking out five.
Leading 1-0 in the bottom of the seventh, RGV added to their lead with two runs against Julio Castro to make it 3-0.
The WhiteWings (9-6) got RBI from Fidel Hernandez, Rudy Yan, and Bryan Marquez.
The Roadrunners (8-8) got a solid outing from Dave Dinelli (1-2) who pitched six solid innings allowing just one run on three hits and striking out two.
The Roadrunners continue their road trip as they travel to Fort Worth to face the Cats starting tomorrow night with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
