In his first stint as a manager, Riley, compiled a 48-44 record. "I have a lot of respect for what Ed's accomplished in his career. I'm looking forward to working closely with him specifically on baseball matters and not just in the front office," Bassiacos said.
Ed will still be on the field working with the Tornadoes players, but also assisting with our youth camps during the summer.
"Chip is the consummate baseball professional and is deserving of this opportunity. He brings a passion for the game, a tremendous work ethic and our player's truly connected with him last season," added Bassiacos.
