The Tulsa Oilers picked up three wins in three games over the weekend to pull to within one point of Quad City for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Tulsa began the weekend with a 3-2 win over Missouri on Friday. Phil Brewer, Mathieu Gagnon and Nathan Lutz tallied for the Oilers while Jussi Olkinuora turned aside 36 Mavericks' shots to record the win in goal. A crowd of 14,265 fans was on hand at BOK Center, the second-largest crowd in the ECHL this season, and the fifth largest in the league's 28-year history.
The Oilers began a home-and-home series with Allen on Saturday and came away with a 3-2 shootout win on home ice. Brewer and Adam Pleskach scored in regulation and Tulsa outscored the Americans 3-2 in a seven-round shootout to pick up the victory.
The scene shifted to Allen on Sunday where the Oilers got off to a quick start, scoring three times in the first 21 minutes of the game on their way to a 4-3 win. Brady Ramsay scored a pair of goals while Andrew Johnston picked up two assists to lead the Tulsa offense. Olkinuoura won his third start in as many days with 26 saves.
Dan DeSalvo, currently loaned to Manitoba of the American Hockey League, leads the Oilers, and is tied for third among ECHL rookies, with 51 points (16g-35a) in 55 games. Brewer has a team-leading 21 goals, which is tied for third among first-year players. Dennis Brown is tied for third among defensemen with 28 assists while his 33 points are tied for 10th among blueliners.
Tulsa hits the road for three games this week, visiting Utah on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Eastern Conference
Wheeling at Kalamazoo (Friday and Saturday)
With 10 games left in the regular season, the K-Wings find themselves eight points out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference while the Nailers look to gain ground on fifth-place Adirondack, whom they trail by three points.
Western Conference
Colorado at Idaho (Friday and Saturday)
The Eagles enter the week in seventh place of the Western Conference standings but find themselves just eight points behind the West- Division leading Steelheads as they look to make a move in the closing weeks of the regular season.

- Patch Alber is tied for second among defensemen with 14 power-play assists.
- The Thunder are tied for fourth with four shorthanded goals against.
- Adirondack hosts Kalamazoo on Tuesday and Manchester on Saturday.
- Kyle Bushee set the Jackals' all-time ECHL record for goals scored by a defenseman with the game-winning goal on Friday against Manchester.
- Elmira is 8-2-0 in its last 10 games.
- The Jackals host Brampton on Friday and Saturday.
- Kevin Morris scored his first professional goal in his first professional game on Saturday at Elmira.
- The Monarchs are 24-0-4 when leading after two periods.
- Manchester hosts Brampton on Wednesday and visits Reading on Friday and Adirondack on Saturday.
- Ryan Salkeld had three goals in three games last week, including the game-winner in Elmira on Saturday.
- Norfolk is 17-1-1 when leading after two periods.
- The Admirals host Orlando on Friday and Saturday.
- Brandon Alderson has 20 points (9g-11a) in his last 21 games.
- The Royals are 9-1-1 in their last 11 road games.
- Reading hosts Kalamazoo on Wednesday and Manchester on Friday.
North Division
- Mike Vernace leads Brampton with 29 points (4g-25a).
- The Beast are tied for fifth with nine shorthanded goals.
- Brampton visits Elmira on Friday and Saturday and hosts Toledo on Sunday.
- Ludwig Blomstrand has a career-high 51 points (22g-29a) on the season.
- Kalamazoo scored a season-high seven goals on Thursday against Brampton.
- The K-Wings are at Adirondack on Tuesday and Reading on Wednesday before hosting Wheeling on Friday and Saturday.
- Jeff Lerg's seven career shutouts are the most in Toledo history.
- The Walleye are 14-4-0 in their last 18 games.
- Toledo visits Wheeling on Tuesday and Fort Wayne on Friday, hosts Cincinnati on Saturday and travels to Brampton on Sunday.
- Paul Cianfrini is tied for fifth in team history with 208 games played.
- Wheeling is 17-4-3 in its last 24 games.

- The Gladiators host South Carolina on Thursday and Saturday.
- Matt Willows leads rookies with 55 points (21g-34a).
- The Everblades are 23-13-1 against South Division opponents.
- Florida hosts Greenville on Friday and Saturday.
- Jack Combs scored his 200th career goal on Saturday at Atlanta.
- Greenville is 11-for-36 (30.6) on the power play over its last nine games.
- The Swamp Rabbits are at Orlando on Wednesday and Florida on Friday and Saturday.
- T.J. Foster leads rookies with six game-winning goals.
- Orlando has scored a league-leading 77 goals in the third period.
- The Solar Bears host Greenville on Wednesday and visit Norfolk on Friday and Saturday.
- Patrick Gaul skated in his 200th ECHL game on Friday against Florida.
- South Carolina has allowed 145 goals, the fewest in the Eastern Conference.

- The Cyclones are 27-1-1 when leading after two periods.
- Cincinnati visits Indy on Thursday and Friday and Toledo on Saturday.
- Jordan Sims leads rookies in plus-minus at +24.
- Evansville is second with 73 goals in the second period.
- The IceMen are at Missouri on Wednesday, Quad City on Friday and Fort Wayne on Saturday.
- Jordon Southorn appeared in his 300th career pro game on Thursday at Evansville.
