ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Idaho's Linsmayer fined, suspended

Idaho's Rob Linsmayer has been suspended pending a review and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #269, Florida at Idaho, on Dec. 4.

Linsmayer was assessed a major penalty for kneeing under Rule 50.3 at 19:59 of the first period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Linsmayer will miss Idaho's game against Florida tonight (Dec. 5) and any further discipline will be announced next week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Allen's Stevenson, Rapid City's O'Rourke fined, suspended

Allen's Dyson Stevenson and Rapid City's Brian O'Rourke have both been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of their actions at the conclusion of ECHL Game #270, Rapid City at Allen, on Dec. 4. Both players were assessed game misconducts under Rule #46.9 and are fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Stevenson will miss Allen's game against Utah tonight (Dec. 5) and O'Rourke will miss Rapid City's game against Wichita on Dec. 8.
