
Ebobisse And Munie Score, Quakes Remain Undefeated In Preseason

SEASIDE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes defeated Monterey Bay F.C. 2-1 on Saturday night at Cardinale Stadium in Seaside, Calif. The result sees the Quakes extend their undefeated streak in the preseason.
JeremyEbobisse opened the scoring in the 28th minute, finishing off a cross by Cristian Espinoza. Monterey Bay equalized moments before halftime on a shot from distance by Walmer Martinez.
With five minutes left in the second half, Daniel Munie scored a game-winning header off a corner kick delivered by Niko Tsakiris.
The Earthquakes will now prepare to depart for the 2023 Coachella Invitational on Monday, Feb. 6. San Jose will train and play exhibition matches against D.C. United (Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. PT), Minnesota United FC (Feb. 15 at 12 p.m. PT), and the New York Red Bulls (Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. PT). For more information, click here.
