Columbus Crew SC News Release
As the season winds down, eight of the ten clubs in the MLS Eastern Conference are still in contention to make the MLS Cup Playoffs in November. Here is how the table looks after 29 weeks of the 2013 season.
1. New York Red Bulls - 48 pts. - Week 29: 2-0 Win vs. Toronto FC
Thierry Henry and FabÃÆ-an EspÃÆ-ndola each scored as the Red Bulls returned to the top spot in the Eastern Conference with a 2-0 home win over Toronto FC. New York hosts FC Dallas on Sunday of Week 30.
2. Montreal Impact - 45 pts. - Week 29: 2-1 Loss vs. Columbus Crew
A Marco Di Vaio first-half tally seemed to put the Impact well on its way to a home victory of the Crew, but the Black & Gold put two in the back of the net in the final 30 minutes to pull off the upset on the road. Montreal hosts Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Week 30 after traveling to San Jose for CONCACAF Champions League action on Tuesday.

Winless in five matches, the Union's playoff chances took a hit on Saturday with a 1-0 loss at home to the Houston Dynamo. John Hackworth's side has two weeks to regroup before returning to action on September 27 at Sporting Kansas City.

9. Toronto FC - 23 pts. - Week 29: 1-1 Draw vs. Chicago Fire, 2-0 Loss at New York Red Bulls
