Earthquakes Terminate Contract of Defender Fabio da Silva

San Jose Earthquakes News Release

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the team has terminated the contract of defender Fabio da Silva, effective immediately. He was originally signed on Aug. 18, 2009.

He played 90 minutes in two exhibition matches for the Quakes against El Sueño de tu Vida All-Stars and Club Deportivo Aguila, but did not appear in a league match.
