
Earthquakes return to MLS action Saturday night

SAN JOSE, CA (Friday, June 11, 2004) - After a week off from MLS action, the San Jose Earthquakes return to league play with a match against the MetroStars on Saturday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m. PT at Spartan Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on 1590 AM KLIV (English) and 1370 AM KZSF (Spanish). It will also be broadcast in high definition on HDNet.
In the last match-up between the Quakes and MetroStars, the two teams combined for a San Jose club record 10 goals in a 5-5 tie, one goal shy of the all-time MLS record. In their history, the Quakes are 10-5-5 against the MetroStars and 7-2-1 at home in the series.
