
Earthquakes Face Austin FC Tonight

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes (5-10-8; 23 pts.) are in Texas to face Austin FC (13-5-5; 44 pts.) at Q2 Stadium tonight at 6 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcast live on NBC Sports California Plus, KNBR 1050 (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).
San Jose is unbeaten in four matches against Austin (2-0-2), overturning two-goal deficits in two of the four matchups. The Earthquakes earned a 4-3 win at Q2 Stadium on Sept. 18, 2021, and a 2-2 draw at PayPal Park on April 2, 2022. The Quakes are led offensively by forward Jeremy Ebobisse, who ranks tied for fourth in MLS with 12 goals, and midfielder Cristian Espinoza, who is one of three players in MLS with 6+ goals and 8+ assists.
Austin FC, who is in their second MLS season, currently sit in second place in the Western Conference. The Texan side is led by Designated Player Sebastian Driussi, who currently ranks first in MLS with 14 goals. Austin also holds a 13-match scoring streak at home, the longest in team history and the longest active run in the league.
