Friday, October 20 Eagles 4 vs. Rocky Mountain Rage 5
The Colorado Eagles were defeated by the Rocky Mountain Rage 5-4 in the first ever meeting between two teams at the Budweiser Events Center. Colorado's Greg Pankewicz had a hat-trick and scored his 1000th career point in the defeat. Rage goaltender David Guerrera made 38 saves in the Rage's first victory in franchise history. Colorado out shot the Rage 42-20 in the game but fell one goal short. The Eagles and Rage will square off 11 more times this season with the next game coming on November 17th at the Broomfield Event Center.

Friday, October 27 vs. Wichita Thunder, 7:05 p.m. Radio: 107.9 The Bear, TV: Altitude
The Wichita Thunder comes to the Budweiser Events Center for the first time in the 2006-07 season. Wichita has won the last four contests between the two teams out scoring Colorado 17-4. The Eagles hold a 12-10-3 all-time record against the Thunder however they have not won since 2-1 victory on February 10, 2006. In 25 games played, the Eagles and Thunder have only needed overtime or a shootout four times, and Wichita has won the last three of those contests. The Eagles are 7-6-0 at home against the Thunder.

Saturday, October 28 vs. New Mexico Scorpions, 7:05 p.m. Radio: 107.9 The Bear
The Eagles square off against the New Mexico Scorpions for the first time since the 2004-05 season. Colorado has a 15-2-4 record against the Scorpions in 21 games and they have won seven of the last eight contests. New Mexico did not play last season as they were building a brand new arena. In twenty games vs. New Mexico, Riley Nelson has scored 38 points on 19 goals and 19 assists leading all Eagles' scorers against the Scorpions.

Greg Pankewicz Six-game goal scoring streak dating back to last season, a Colorado Eagles record

Mr. 1000- Eagles Captain Greg Pankewicz scored his 1000th professional point on Friday night against the Rocky Mountain Rage. Pankewicz had his third hat-trick in an Eagles uniform and now has 1001 points for his career. The fifteen-plus year veteran is the Eagles all-time leading scorer with 270 points (128-142).

Opener Night- Colorado is now 2-2 in opening night games. The Eagles lost their first game in franchise history, however they won the next two opening night contests. Friday's loss to the Rage evened their record to 2-2.
