Colorado Eagles News Release
The Colorado Eagles will be chasing history when they enter the Ford Arena on Friday night to take on the Oklahoma City Blazers. The first place team in the Central Hockey league is looking to break the CHL-record for consecutive wins. If they defeat the Blazers, the team will be all alone in the record book with 13 consecutive wins. As of now the Eagles are tied with Memphis (01-02), Bossier-Shreveport (98-99) and Huntsville (96-97) with 12 wins in a row. Colorado has not lost a game in regulation since December 21, 2004 against the Amarillo Gorillas. Since that time the team is 16-0-1, with their only blemish coming on New Year's Day in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Wichita Thunder.
