Dynamo SuperLiga single-game tickets go on sale

HOUSTON, TX (Monday, June 23, 2008) - Single-game tickets for the Houston Dynamo's 2008 SuperLiga home games are now on sale, the team announced today.

Fans can purchase tickets for both the July 12 game against Atlante and the July 15 game against Chivas de Guadalajara, with special four-packs available for just $59.95.

The Dynamo will host 2007 Mexican Apertura champion Atlante on the tournament's opening day at 9:00 p.m. at Robertson Stadium. Three days later, the Dynamo will host storied club Chivas de Guadalajara, the 2006 Mexican Apertura champion, on a Tuesday night, also at 9:00 p.m. Group play for Houston concludes with a visit to D.C. United July 19. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals in late July. The championship game will be played August 5.

In last year's inaugural SuperLiga tournament, the Dynamo went 2-0-1 in group play and advanced to the semifinals before being eliminated in a shootout by eventual champion Pachuca. The Dynamo averaged more than 17,000 fans last year in their SuperLiga games against Mexican clubs.

With only two guaranteed home games for the 2008 version of SuperLiga, Dynamo fans can secure their seats by calling (713) 276-7500 to purchase a four-pack or logging on to www.HoustonDynamo.com for individual seats.
