Due to Inclement Weather, Tonight's Columbus Crew Road Match at Charlotte FC Postponed

COLUMBUS - Major League Soccer has confirmed that tonight's MLS match between the visiting Columbus Crew and Charlotte FC at has been postponed following inclement weather in Charlotte. The match's resumption (16th minute-on) has been postponed to a to-be-announced date later in the MLS regular-season.
For Columbus supporters who traveled to the match your ticket(s) will be valid for the new date. As soon as that date is released Charlotte FC will communicate with you. If you are not able to travel back to Charlotte when on the makeup date, the CLTFC will work with you to provide additional options as necessary.
After severe weather delayed the initial start of the match by more than three hours, the two teams began play at 10:18 p.m. ET before severe weather returned to the Charlotte area and play was halted in the 16th minute. Up next, the Crew returns home for two matches at Lower.com Field, hosting CF Montreal on Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 7:30 p.m. ET and defending champions New York City FC on Saturday, Aug. 6 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
