Shane Arthurs (6-1) benefited from his offense's prowess, picking up the win after allowing five runs on 10 hits over six innings of work. Surf Starter Mark Persails (7-8) took the loss after allowing eight runs in three innings.
The Ducks offense was led by Hernandez, Rose, Juan Lorenzo, Justin Davies and Donny Leon. Lorenzo finished with a 5-for-6 night, Rose and Hernandez added four RBI apiece. Davies went 3-for-5 and scored five times.
