The Skeeters took two of three winning on Sunday, with a pair of four run innings in a 12-3 victory. The first on RBI singles by Adam Godwin and Dominic Ramos, as well as a Dustin Martin triple that drove in two and Sugar Land was up 4-0. They were at it again putting up three in the fourth inning on back-to-back homeruns by Dustin Martin and Steve Moss to take a 7-0 lead. Sugar Land made it 11-2 when Aaron Bates and Dominic Ramos both hit their first homeruns of the year in the seventh and cruised their way to a win.

Sugar Land starter Michael Nix retired 9 of the first 10 batters, but could not finish the fifth going 4.2 innings and did not qualify for what would have been his first win of the year. The Skeeters take 2 of 3 games from the Ducks and go 4-2 on the road trip.

Up Next: The Skeeters have Monday off, but return home for a six-game series to take on the Lancaster Barnstormers for the first time this season. Tuesday is an 11:05am start for the first of back-to-back nights of "Baseball in Education", sponsored by Smart Financial Credit Union. The pitching matchup will feature Skeeters Ace RHP Matt Wright (2-0, 0.90) vs. RHP Dwayne Pollok (2-0, 5.06) for the Barnstormers.
