Calgary Drillers News Release
The Calgary Drillers announced today they have moved their home opener from Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2004 at 7 p.m. to Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2004 at 7 p.m. to avoid a possible conflict with the Gold Medal game of the World Junior Hockey Championships. The Drillers will also play the next night, Thursday, Jan. 6 at 7 p.m.
All Drillers home games will be played at the Stampede Corral. Drillers tickets will go on sale on Monday, Dec. 27 through Ticketmaster. Tickets range from a low of $8.00 to $55.00 for the "Nicholson" courtside seats. More than 65% of all Drillers tickets will be $15.00 or less.
The Drillers will also hold a media conference on Friday, Dec. 31 at Rundle College to introduce the coaching staff and members of the team. Time of this event will be announced early next week.
Have a Great Christmas.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
