
Drillers drop opener to Katy

The Drillers dropped their season opener to division rival Katy 40-47 on Saturday, March 11 after leading much of the game.
Quarterback Damone Scott opened the game up by finding Shockmain Davis on a long pass to the 3-yard line and bringing the Drillers in on the next play to put the first points on the board.
The two teams traded points most of the night until late in the game.
The Driller's first home game will be March 18 against the Arkansas Stars. Season tickets and game day tickets are now on sale at Ford Arena and all Ticketmaster outlets.
