Dragons Sign NFL Veteran

DANVILLE, IL - This morning, the Dragons announced the team has come to terms with former NFL player Shonn Bell.

Shonn Bell (6'6," 270, UVA-Wise) was an All-American Tight End at UVA-Wise. Over his NFL career, Bell was with the Houston Oilers ('96-'97), San Francisco 49ers ('98-'00), Chicago Bears ('00-'01), Minnesota Vikings ('01) and Cleveland Browns. Other past teams Bell has been with include: Bloomington Extreme, Scott Claymores (NFLE), Quad City Steamwheelers, Fort Wayne Freedom, Peoria Rough Riders and Chicago Knights.

"There is no question that Shonn signing is going to bring our defensive line and team to another level," stated Dragons head coach Jarrod Rogol.
