Dayton Dragons News Release

DAYTON, OHIO - The Dayton Dragons are being recognized by Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted for the organization's contributions to economic growth and the overall business climate. A pre-game presentation by Elaine Herrick, Regional Liaison for the Ohio Secretary of State, will take place on Wednesday, July 25 at Fifth Third Field before the Dragons 7:00 p.m. game.

Throughout the month of July, the Secretary of State is honoring Ohio's rich professional sports tradition and the teams at all levels who are growing the Ohio economy and providing great entertainment to our residents.

In 2011, Secretary of State Husted launched Ohio Business Profile, which highlights Ohio companies that create transformative products, offer outstanding service, contribute to their local communities and employ Ohioans.

The Dragons host the Fort Wayne TinCaps in a three-game series Wednesday through Friday at Fifth Third Field. All three games will start at 7:00 p.m. The home stand will continue with a four-game series with the Lansing Lugnuts starting Saturday night.
