Today's Game : The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Lake County Captains (affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) in the last game of a three-game series.

Individual Notes

- Kyle Waldrop is batting .370 (10 for 27) with two home runs over his last eight games.

- Sean Buckley has belted three home runs in five games on the road trip. He is 5 for 12 over his last three games.

- Yorman Rodriguez is batting .333 in July with seven doubles, two triples, and two home runs. He has hit safely in four straight games.

- Mike Dennhardt has tossed 14 scoreless innings over his last nine relief appearances. This is the longest scoreless streak of the year for a Dayton pitcher. He has not been scored upon in the month of July.

- James Allen over his last two starts: 14 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 9 SO.

- Carlos Gonzalez has tossed 8.2 scoreless innings over his last four relief appearances.

Team Notes

- The Dragons need a win tonight to avoid being swept in a series for the first time since they lost three to Bowling Green in Dayton to start the second half June 22-24. They have not been swept in a road series since May 23-25 at Lansing. They are 2-3 on the six-game road trip.

Playoff Chase : The Dragons must finish first or second in the East Division in the second half (excluding Lansing and Bowling Green) to qualify for the playoffs. Entering tonight's game, they are five games out of the playoff slot.
