Dragones ready for home opener

Tijuana Dragones will have their home opener this Thursday, when they receive the Belingham Slam an 7:00 PM (pst) at the Municipal Auditorium in Tijuana.

Dragones (1-2) is ready for a big party during and after the game, including singer Laura Caro that will sing the Mexican national anthem, a martial arts school that will perform, for the first time, thee "Dragon Dance" and will be a lot of surprises and gifts for the crowd, that is expected in about 3,000 fans.

Slam (4-2) is undefeated on the road, but Dragones is motivated because they beat Gallup Outlaws on the road, for their first victory of the season.

Raynardo Curry (5), Kareem Grant (32), Clifford Washington (23), Gene Shipley (34) and Calvin Melaney (3) are expected to be the five starters for Tijuana, team that have a local kid (Rodrigo Marquez, 55) in the roster.
