Springfield will have 12 total selections in the drft and select 12th in the draft order. The draft order is determined in reverse order of their finish in the 2015-16 NAHL regular-season standings.
Springfield will be looking to fill several spots due to the high number of player advancements in the past couple of seasons. Since the start of the '14-'15 season Springfield has advanced 13 players to the USHL and this past season had eleven Division 1 and three Division 3 committed players on the roster.
"We work hard all year with scouts and partners to identify high caliber players that fit our culture" Coach Zasowski stated "and today begins the process of getting those players in Springfield colors."
