Dr. Hockey to Operate at Scorpions Home Games
October 6, 2004 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
New Mexico Scorpions News Release
ALBUQUERQUE â Tingley Coliseum will never be the same, not after Dr. Hockey gets unleashed. One of the most coveted free agent signings of the summer, Dr. Hockey will establish a new brand of enthusiasm, wit, humor and excitement at New Mexico Scorpions home games this season.
Opposing teams and officials will be cringing, while Scorpions fans cheer after Dr. Hockey gets through.
"I am excited to get the season started and start firing everybody up," said Dr. Hockey. "One of my favorite things about hockey is that the intensity level is always so high from the drop of the first puck until the final horn. I see it as my job and my responsibility to bring that intensity into the crowd as well."
"We are looking forward to Dr. Hockey becoming an integral part of our game presentation," said Scorpions President/CEO W.D. "Doug" Frank. "We are committed to inventing new ways to market our product to the community as one of excitement and entertainment. We are intent on making Tingley Coliseum the hardest place for visiting teams to play in the CHL, and the best place for fans to attend a game in the CHL."
