
Doug Daniel Earns Player of the Week Honors

Rockford, Ill. - The Rock River Raptors of the United Indoor Football (UIF) League have announced today that Doug Daniel has been named Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts against the Evansville Bluecats in Week 11.
Daniel set a UIF record for most kicks made during a game, going 7-for-7 on field goal attempts, including kicks from 45 and 46 yards. He was also perfect on extra point attempts, nailing 4 out of 4 attmepts. Daniel alone accounted for 25 of the Raptors' 49 points.
Since joining the Raptors in Week 3 of the season, Daniel has helped the Raptors tremendously on offense. Daniel ranks second overall in the UIF in points scored, tallying 114 on the year and averaging 12.7 points per game. Daniel also ranks second in PAT kicking percentage, and even leads the league in field goals and field goal percentage.
This weekend, the Raptors will be taking on the Bloomington Extreme in Bloomington. The game can be heard on ESPN 1380 and 93.7 The Big Easy or online at http://www.espn1380.com.
