Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, and Globe Life announced today the club has resigned Dalton and Josh Thrower for the 2018-2019 season.

The Thrower brothers joined the Americans last season. Dalton, a former second round pick of the Montreal Canadians in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, will enter his fifth professional season this October. He played in parts of three seasons with the Brampton Beasts from 2014-2015 to 2016-2017. He played in nine games with St John's of the American Hockey League in 2015-2016 and had 24 penalty minutes. Last season with Allen, he played in 61 games and had 13 points and 95 penalty minutes.

Josh Thrower joined Allen last year for his rookie season. He played in all but three games for the Americans and had seven points and 102 penalty minutes. He played his junior hockey with Calgary, Tri City, Vancouver and Moose Jaw of the Western Hockey League. The 6-1, 200-pound resident of Squamish, BC turned 22 in March.

"We're excited to be coming back to Allen," said Dalton Thrower. "Josh and I were treated so well by the fans in Texas and we can't wait to get back in late September."
