Don't Think Twice, It's a Dylan Sound-A-Like Contest

(Duluth, MN) Calling musicians, singers, or your everyday Joe. Are you sometimes hard to understand? Do you know all the words to Subterranean Homesick Blues? The Dukes want you for Saturday night for the Bob Dylan sound-a-like contest. This Saturday, during the Dukes game, contestants will have a chance to win great prizes from Charter Communications and the Dukes for sounding like Minnesota's most famous son.

Contestants are encouraged to register in advance by calling the Dukes ofice at 218.727.4525. The Dukes will provide some Bob Dylan music, but cannot guarantee to have the entire Dylan catalog. Thus, contestants are encouraged to bring their song of choice on compact disc to the stadium the day of the game.

Saturday's game will begin at 7:05 pm with gates opening at 6:05 pm.

Bob Dylan was born in Duluth and before moving to Hibbing, MN. He returned to Duluth for the first time as a performer in 1998.

The Dukes take-on North Division rival, the Winnipeg Goldeyes, for a 3-game stand beginning Friday at 7:05 pm.

Color-TV-A-Thon This Weekend

The Dukes are giving away ten 19"color TVs during this weekend's 3-game series against the Goldeyes. Fans can register to win by purchasing a game program or signing up at Wade Stadium.
