
Don't miss Spikes open house December 13

State College Spikes News Release
The State College Spikes will be hosting a Winter Open House at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park to benefit the Salvation Army.
Fans will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes at Medlar Field and participate in other great ballpark activities on Thursday, Decemeber 14th, from 5 PM to 8PM.
Admission to the event is FREE with one new and unwrapped toy per person, to benefit the Salvation Army.
Fans attending the Open House will be able to take guided tours of Medlar Field at Lubrano Park and see areas of the ballpark not normally accessible to fans, such as the Home and Visiting Clubhouses, Indoor Batting Cages, Press Box and Luxury Suites.
Other events and activities taking place for the first Medlar Field at Lubrano Park Open House include:
Holiday crafts for kids and a coloring contest, where the winner's picture will be displayed by the Spikes
Free swings in the same indoor batting cages that the Spikes use
Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and other refreshments
Holiday pictures with Ike the Spike and Santa
Door Prizes
10% off all merchandise at the Off the Rack Outfitters
In addition, fans will be able to ask questions to all Spikes front office staff members as well as purchase season tickets, mini-plan packages, flex books and other ticket packages for the 2007 season, which begins in June.
Fans attending the Open House events can park for free in the VIP Lot adjacent to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park and will be able to enter through the main gates facing Porter Road.
