Milwaukee Wave News Release
MILWAUKEE (March 10, 2008) - He'll have a new quarterback throwing him passes in the fall, but Donald Driver remains one of the Green Bay Packers' brightest stars on and off the field.
He's third all-time among Packers receivers in receptions and fourth in receiving yardage, and has been honored with three trips to the Pro Bowl.
Driver also has established his own foundation to benefit homeless mothers and underprivileged children, and has been honored as the team's "Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year" for his work in the community.
It's only fitting, then, that Driver agreed to autograph the Wave of Kindness Harley-Davidson, joining superstars such as Pele, LeBron James, David Beckham, Carl Lewis and many, many more.
All season long, fans can buy raffle tickets to win the 2008 Sportster XL 883 that has been painted a special Milwaukee Wave blue and will be autographed by various celebrities throughout the winter. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and can be purchased online at www.milwaukeewave.com and at all Milwaukee Wave games.
The winning ticket will be drawn at the Time Warner Cable Major Indoor Soccer League championship game on April 26 at the U.S. Cellular Arena.
Raffle proceeds will benefit Wave of Kindness, a nonprofit organization that brings soccer to inner-city youth through camp scholarships, game tickets, clinics and more. For more information on Wave of Kindness, visit www.milwaukeewave.com and click on the Wave of Kindness link.
Suburban Motors of Thiensville is the Wave's partner on this project.
