WHO: The Brooklyn Cyclones Don Newcombe, legendary Brooklyn Dodger pitcher
WHAT: The Brooklyn Cyclones welcome legendary Brooklyn Dodger pitcher Don Newcombe to KeySpan Park in Coney Island on Sunday, July 22nd. He and 2,500 of his closest bobbleheads!
Prior to the team's 5 PM game, Newcombe - who posted a 20-5 record in 1955 to help his team to its first World Series title - will be on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and will be signing autographs during the game.
The first 2,500 fans through the turnstiles will receive a Don Newcombe bobblehead doll, part of the team's "Brooklyn Legends" bobblehead series. It will also be Autism Awareness Night at KeySpan Park.
