Dominic Fletcher Steals the Show, Aces Blast Bees 13-7

Reno, NV - Dominic Fletcher doubled three times and homered in a 14-7 Reno Aces (19-18, 63-49) victory over the Salt Lake Bees (15-22, 52-59) Friday night at Greater Nevada Field.

Fletcher entered the game hitting .325 and slugging .500 against right-handed pitching between Reno and Arizona this season. The former Arkansas Razorback kept it pumping in Friday's thunderous showing, going 4-for-4 with the three doubles, a launched moonshot, and two walks. The Aces doubled six times on the evening, with Gabriel Moreno and Camden Duzenack (2) adding the others.

Moreno reached in all six of his Major League rehab plate appearances, including three hits. Buddy Kennedy went 3-for-4 with two walks while Camden Duzenack went 3-for-5 with two doubles. Ali Sánchez also produced another multi-hit contest. The Aces compiled 16 total knocks in the win with seven hits with runners in scoring position. Reno scored three runs or more in three separate frames.

Bryce Jarvis had one of his most dominant relief apperances with two scoreless innings and two strikeouts. Austin Pope posted a clean frame before Justin Martínez closed things down in the ninth, holding Salt Lake to seven runs. Reno took a 3-1 series lead with the win. The Aces and Bees continue their six-game set Saturday night at 6:35 p.m. PT.
