Somerset Patriots' Jasson Dominguez celebrates win

The Somerset Patriots defeated the Hartford Yard Goats by a score of 11-4 on Friday night at Dunkin' Park in Hartford, Connecticut.
The win moves the Patriots to a season-best 10 games over .500 for the second time this season. Somerset also moves 1.5 games back of first place Portland in the Eastern League's Northeast division with 14 games left to be played in the first half.
In the game, Somerset's pitching staff struck out 13 batters for the third time in four games this series. They have struck out double-digit batters in all four games of the series, totaling 49 strikeouts in the four games.
RHP Yoendrys Gomez (3.0 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 1 BB, 4 K) earned a no-decision in his third start of the season, throwing a season-high 48 pitches. In three starts since coming off the injured list, Gomez has posted 8.2 scoreless innings with nine strikeouts.
CF Jasson Dominguez (2-for-6, 5 RBI, R, HR, 2B, 3 K) hit his ninth home run of the season, totaling a career-high 5 RBIs in the game. Dominguez has now homered in each of the Patriots' last nine series.
1B T.J. Rumfield (1-for-4, RBI, 2 R, BB, K) hit his second home run of the series and his seventh of the season, continuing to boost his career-best mark.
DH Mickey Gasper (2-for-3, 2 RBI, 3 R, HR, 2B, 2 BB) hit his second home run of the season to lead off the eighth inning.
After going hitless in his first five games with the Patriots this season (0-for-14), Gasper has now hit safely in five straight games, going 8-for-16 with 6 RBI, 8 R, 2 HR, 2 2B and 3 BB.
Gasper's three runs scored in the game matched a career-high for the fourth time in his career, one game after he had three hits, which matched a career-high for the ninth time in his career.
