Richmond RiverDogs News Release

We in the office want to make you aware that Head Coach and General Manager Robbie S. Nichols and new Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Adam Kaufman will be on your local Richmond radio dial Friday morning.

Nichols and Kaufman will be joining morning show host and RiverDogs public address announcer Mike Levay on 93.1, the Wolf - "Country that Rocks!" - tomorrow morning at 8:50 am. We hope you have the opportunity to tune in!

The RiverDogs are still ironing out radio plans for the coming season so be sure to stay tuned, no pun intended, for all new developments.

The Dogs also have plans to announce a pair of new signings in the coming days that are sure to get fans excited, particularly those who have enjoyed Richmond hockey in years past.

Richmond opens its exhibition season on October 14th with back-to-back games against new rival Roanoke. The battles, taking place in the 700-seat Skate Nation on the 15th and 16th, are being tabbed as the "Battle on Broad Street!" The regular season commences on Friday, October 21st, hosting the Adirondack Frostbite at the Richmond Coliseum. Tickets for all RiverDogs home games are available at all Ticketmaster outlets and the Richmond Coliseum Box Office. Tickets can be charged by phone through Ticketmaster at 804-262-8100 or can be purchased at the arena at 601 E. Leigh St. Season tickets, FlexPaks, birthday parties and group packages are available through the RiverDogs' office. For more information on tickets or upcoming games, please call our office at 804-225-PUCK (7825).

PLEASE NOTE: Our website is currently under construction as plans for a new site are in the development stages. The new address will be www.riverdogsuhl.com. We hope to have this functional within the next few weeks and sincerely appreciate your patience throughout this process.
